Brenda and Megan tired of all-day shopping decided to go to their favorite confectionery
Cakes&Cookies and to the LADUREE candy store, whose owner, Mrs. Hopkins is renowned
for making delicious and, more important, low-calorie muffins and macaroons in fabulous
flavors and colors. There’s no lack of various fruit, chocolate and cream cakes, elegantly
displayed on the store window to attract the eyes of customers. There also can be found
cookies, candies, lollipops and caramelized fruits on the other side of the shop window. All
cookies are wrapped in beautiful pastel-colored boxes marked with the business name.
There’s always a lot of customers. People can enjoy the sweetness surrounded by cozy decor
with tasteful, comfortable, wicker armchairs and decorative flowers in the windows. Friends
often come here for a little something. Mrs. Parnelle with her daughter, Megan, also gladly visits this
place.
